Beach Wedding 1950’s style for Brendan & Sarah

This would have to be one of the most fun weddings that I have ever had the pleasure in photographing!
Sarah and Brendan traveled all the way from London for their beautiful 1950’s inspired Noosa beach wedding on a perfect Noosa Spring afternoon.
I met the girls at Sarah’s parents place in Sunshine Beach where the laughter began. Sarah looked absolutely stunning with her flaming red hair and the most beautiful makeup applied by the talented Jana from “Makeup by Jana”. The laughter continued as I piled everyone into my car to drive to the ceremony at Hidden Grove. I think the last time I drove so carefully was driving home from the hospital after the births of my daughters!
Arriving fashionably late at the ceremony Sarah and Brendan were lead through a most emotional ceremony conducted by the lovely Stephanie Neil with the beach as a stunning backdrop.
Once all of the formalities had concluded we attempted family and friend photos with hilarious results and much clowning around. This lead to an afternoon of hamming it up much to the amusement of the many onlookers along Noosa main beach. We even stopped traffic on Hasting Street!
After all the fun along Hasting Street, Sarah, Brendan and the Bridal Party traveled by Gondola to “The Waterfront Restaurant” for the reception, where a half eaten lolly bar stood demolished in the corner. Note to future Brides ordering the lolly bar, Order 3 times the amount! A big thanks also to Rebecca from¬†¬† “Blooms of Noosa” for the stunning floral bouquets. Red roses are just so beautiful! And all images by “ME” Lindy Photography.
A huge thanks has to go to David and Nicola, one of my past Bride and Groom for recommending me to Sarah and Brendan. It was great catching up again.
I wish Sarah and Brendan the most wonderful future as Husband and Wife and a life filled with love and plenty of laughter. xxx
